Welcome to red, black, and GREEN, a FREE environmental Caucus and Concert taking place in West Oakland’s deFremery (Little Bobby Hutton) Park— on Saturday October 18. Through this work, we hope to engage the intersection of green economics, green literacy, and black psychology, promoting eco-equity projects and visual branding strategies that engage youth in underserved communities so as to activate them positively in the global issue of sustainability. The goal of the day’s events is to fuse art and discourse to promote environmental accountability, local sustainability and green economic entrepreneurship in West Oakland. We believe in focusing on the local environment in order to create connective tissue to the global climate crisis. It is a hard and obvious truth that people of color are under-represented in the environmental movement. It is also a hard and obvious truth that violent crime and poor education pose more of an imminent danger to most West Oakland residents than environmental crisis. Ultimately the movement for social change and environmental accountability are one and the same, that focusing on steps to sustain the planet ultimately force us to envision a pathway to sustaining humanity.
We use music, poetry, documentary, and movement to construct a specific performed bridge from homicides over turf to Katrina’s hurricane force. California wildfire to Atlanta’s drought. Earth. Wind. Fire. Water. red, black, and green: a blues.

New Sturvs!!
We’ve been so busy with the site relaunch, custom work & other projects that it has taken us a while to bring out some new designs of our own. So imagine how excited we are to be having not 1, 2 but THREE new designs coming out this season. Wohoo!! We also have a bunch of handpainted & one-of-a-kind-pieces coming out. We will be giving previous clients & subscribers the chance for first look to exclusively purchase before they’re available for general sale on the site. So keep ya ears to da ground!
Capsule SF Design Festival
If you are in the Bay Area, come out for this. On October 19th, One3snapshot will be one of many at this event that draws independent West Coast designers, to display and merchandise their creations. Capsule is a design portal, featuring independent designers. At Capsule, you will find original clothing, jewelry, accessory, furniture and lifestyle designers. They also feature artists, artisans and craftspeople.
When – Sunday, Oct. 19th
Where – Hayes Valley park, San Francisco.
Time – 11:00am and goes till 6:00pm
FREE (there will be live & dj music)
We Create For Change
Yes we do custom graphic work! Check out our services page, if you want to send us a query about getting some project of yours done. They have to line up with our values. We’ve been busy with a few projects in the past months. We will be updating our portfolio with work from groups such as Loco Bloco, Oakland Chick Project & other individuals’ work.
Also youth dance classes are in full motion as well as other creative projects that you will be finding out soon. Fun Fun Fun!!
